Admissions Requirements
- A four-year bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university.
- An overall undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or greater for all undergraduate work or a GPA of at least 3.0 for the junior and senior years of undergraduate work (based on A=4.0).
- Satisfy the School of Graduate Studies' English Language Proficiency requirements as published in the graduate catalog.
Certificate Requirements
The Instructional Coaching Certificate focuses on the knowledge, skills and dispositions for effective teacher leadership and coaching in the PreK-12 educational setting. Approaches for instructional coaching that support educational program visions, goals and institutional commitment are explored as ways to transform schools into organizations focused on accelerated teacher effectiveness.
