We are requesting the addition of the EDD prefix, as we still need our T&L prefix. We would like to have an EDD prefix to distinguish between dissertations for the Ed.D. and Ph.D. For the Ed.D. we are going to propose a new course titled, Dissertation in Practice, thus we would like it to have the EDD prefix (EDD 999 Dissertation in Practice). The current course, T&L 999 Dissertation, will be used solely for the Ph.D. With UND's move to become more research-intensive, we are working hard to make a stronger distinction between our Ed.D. and Ph.D.
