The Department of Art & Design is seeking to have the Program/Major Title match the actual degree sought. With loss of faculty and retirement of faculty it seems appropriate to title the B.F.A. with exactly what the degree is. New Art Media was also a vague and undefined title which is clarified by the change to simply "Graphic Design." This alteration is part of the overall efforts being undertaken to make changes in the department to streamline and be more efficient.
