The Harold Hamm School of Geology and Geological Engineering has decided to move the BS in Geology from A&S to College of Engineering and Mines which is the home College of the program.
Rationale: the UND administrative environment is changing with a new budget model and the current arrangement will no longer be tenable. Thus, it is vital that the BS in Geology will be conferred by CEM in the future. Additionally, we would like Geology students to be aligned more closely through graduation with the college in which they spent the majority of their time, in this case, CEM.
