The Bachelor of General Studies (B.G.S.) degree will offer an option for advanced level students for whom a more traditional academic program proves not to be feasible. The B.G.S. will also offer a general degree opportunity to non-traditional and distance learners studying with the Office of Extended Learning. In all cases, students must have their course of study approved by a General Studies committee or a representative of the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.
